2. Shipment Processing & Pickup

Shipments are processed once the order is successfully booked on the platform.

Pickup timelines typically range between 24–72 business hours depending on:

  • Pickup location
  • Courier partner availability
  • Operational constraints

Important:

  • Pickup delays may occur due to remote locations, holidays, or unforeseen circumstances
  • Users must ensure the shipment is properly packed and ready at the scheduled time

3. Delivery Timelines

Estimated delivery timelines vary based on:

  • Origin and destination pin codes
  • Courier partner selected
  • Service type (surface / air / express)

Typical Delivery Timelines

  • Metro to Metro: 2–4 business days
  • Metro to Non-Metro: 3–6 business days
  • Remote/Rural Areas: 5–10 business days

These are indicative timelines only and not guaranteed.

4. Factors Affecting Delivery

Delivery may be delayed due to:

  • Weather conditions or natural disasters
  • Political disruptions, strikes, or curfews
  • Flight or transport delays

  • RTO (Return to Origin)

Additional charges may apply for reattempts or RTO shipments.

6. Return to Origin (RTO)

A shipment may be returned to the sender if:

  • Delivery attempts fail
  • Address is incorrect or incomplete
  • Customer refuses delivery

RTO Charges

  • Forward and return shipping charges are applicable
  • These charges will be billed to the user

7. Shipment Tracking

Users can track shipments in real-time via:

  • Transpoship dashboard
  • Tracking ID provided at the time of booking

Tracking updates are dependent on courier partner systems and may occasionally be delayed.

8. Packaging Responsibility

Users are responsible for:

  • Proper packaging of goods
  • Using appropriate materials for fragile or high-value items

Transpoship and courier partners are not liable for damages caused due to:

  • Inadequate packaging
  • Improper labeling

9. Serviceability

Delivery services are subject to courier partner serviceability.

Some pin codes may be:

  • Non-serviceable
  • Partially serviceable
  • Serviceable with extended timelines

Transpoship reserves the right to:

  • Cancel shipments to non-serviceable locations
  • Suggest alternate courier options

10. Weight Discrepancy & Additional Charges

Courier partners may re-weigh shipments during transit.

If discrepancies are found:

  • Additional charges will be applied
  • Charges will be debited from the user’s wallet/account

11. Delayed, Lost, or Damaged Shipments

Transpoship acts as an intermediary between users and courier partners.

Any claims for:

  • Loss
  • Damage
  • Delay

are subject to courier partner investigation and policies.

Compensation, if applicable, will be provided as per courier partner terms and approved claims.

12. International Shipping (If Applicable)

For international shipments:

  • Delivery timelines vary significantly based on destination country
  • Customs clearance may cause delays
  • Duties, taxes, and import charges are the responsibility of the consignee
